Well, my old AC unit finally gave out. Again, Alfonso tried his very best to fix it, he came back twice and it just was not going to happen this time. Service on two Carrier units 22 years old showed no major problems. All electrical and performance tests were done on compressor, fan motors, capacitors, delta-Temp in less than an hour. 1.5lbs R-22 added to one unit.
